Back in January I announced that a short story/testimony of mine about pursuing contentment in the messy bits of life was published in one of Delight Ministries’ devotional volumes (SO CRAZY COOL), and loads of you have asked about when it will be available in the Delight shop for you to read. I finally have an update!
That concept of who I could be was appealing, and I soaked it in every time. I crossed oceans, ate different foods, took weekend trips to Italy, and stood in skyscrapers in London.
Now that they don’t readily apply anymore, it feels kind of strange, because I think I let myself believe that it was all of those things that made me special or interesting.
I turned twenty the other day. Some of my brain still refuses to wrap around that fact, but the rest of it is content to leave the teen years behind. Here are my thoughts on having successfully completed (and by that I mean…well…survived/existed/been breathing and learning) two decades of life in this round world.
