I’m assuming we’re all adults here so I’ll skip over the little kid stuff like “go to the bathroom beforehand” and “don’t ask the driver if you’re there yet” simply because those are the tips someone gives those who don’t want to be strangled by the other passengers. I’m listing tips about the fun stuff. Continue reading
Welome to day two!
(In case you missed it, here is the post about our first day in Verona.)
Torri Del Benaco
- The view of Torri from our hotel was absolutely stunning. We spent the first part of the morning taking as many photos as we could think of before going down the hill to Torri.
Day One: Travelling to Verona
- Plane to Verona!
I finally got around to visiting Oxford for the day! Here are a few favorite places I went on that trip (click any of the photos below to look closer).
1. The Eagle and Child Pub
I came home for Christmas yesterday! *happy dance* I haven’t been home since the first week of September and I must say it has been a very long three and a half months. Continue reading
The three musketeers visited Dorset this past weekend y’all. I feel like it’s been ages since we did a trip like this. The last one was our Brighton Trip before summer! (Crazy.) The three musketeers took Brighton twice in the past few weeks. The first time Viki, Rosalind, and I got to accompany the Krycler’s to Brighton for the day on May 8th. It was pretty incredible as it was the warmest it’d been in England while I’ve been there (in the high 60s Fahrenheit). Continue reading
This weekend I went to London with these wonderful girls, Ros and Viki, and some friends of ours from church. I only had one location request. The one place I hadn’t visited last summer when we went was Blackfriar’s Bridge and all I needed was one picture. (After reading The Infernal Devices it was a major bucket list destination. I didn’t need to stay super long but I had to go see Jem’s favorite place in London and get a picture.) So naturally we ran across four lanes of traffic to get it, and then ran right back to jump in the car again. Continue reading
