Because I just LOVE this mug so much okay.
One: It reminds me of a worship song that is absolutely beautiful.
“There may be pain in the night, but joy comes in the morning. And when the oceans rage, I don’t have to be afraid, because I know that you love me, and your love never fails.” – “Your Love Never Fails”, Jesus Culture
Two: It’s straight out of scripture.
“Sing to the Lord, all you godly ones! Praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” – Psalm 30:5 (NLT)
How wonderful to contemplate His abounding love, mercy, and forgiveness.
“The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.” – Psalm 103:8 (NIV)
Someone emphasized that word in a conversation with me this past week. Abounding. There isn’t just a lot. His love is abounding. It’s energetic, not passive. It’s overflowing and plentiful, not finite. It’s constant and unconditional. It never fails us.
So today, it is a new morning, and whether your night was dark with raging oceans or full of sparkly stars, our Father is just waiting to fill you the immense joy that comes with knowing you are so SO loved.
If you like the mug in this photo I highly recommend you check out the rest of Kristin Schmucker’s shop. The shop includes bible study tools, candles (THERE’S AUTUMNAL ONES OUT NOW Y’ALL), home décor, jewelry, prints & much more!
And speaking of autumnal, a couple posts back on the blog I gave y’all a Window Into Decorating a Student House (full of colors involving reds and peaches and Ikea daises) when we decided to decorate the window seat in our house. So if you’re looking for cushion inspiration you know where to look!
